The Metro Trauma Committee is a cooperative effort between metro EMS agencies, hospitals, and the Polk County Medical Examiner’s Office with consultation from the IDPH, Bureau of EMS. The Metro Trauma Committee exists to advance optimal trauma care within the Des Moines, Iowa metropolitan area. This is facilitated through networking, consultation, education and trauma research.
Meetings are held at 1914 Carpenter, Des Moines on the third Monday of odd numbered months.
